Approved vendors are welcome. For the protection of the home and grounds, all vendors must be disclosed and approved prior to arrival. We also have preferred partners familiar with the property should you wish for seamless coordination.

Absolutely. The home is equipped with two 5-ton central air systems that ensure comfort throughout the year. While summer temperatures in the desert can rise dramatically, the interiors remain refreshingly cool – typically 72°F or lower. The upstairs bedrooms and library, set beneath the roofline, may warm slightly during the day but cool beautifully in the evening.
Yes. Both the pool and spa are heated for year-round enjoyment. Because energy costs in the desert are significant, we tailor heating and cooling options based on guest needs. Please share details about your plans for the pool and spa so we can price your stay accurately.
A mid-stay refresh may be arranged for extended bookings. For privacy, standard stays do not include daily service, though it may be added upon request for an additional fee.
Children are welcome; however, we are a property designed with refined furnishings, unique architecture, and natural surroundings. Families should ensure attentive supervision to keep little explorers safe and preserve the home’s details.
We love animals, though approval depends on the individual pet. Please disclose any animals you plan to bring when booking. Unfortunately, unannounced or “visiting” pets cannot be accommodated. This helps us maintain the serenity and cleanliness that define the Doghouse experience.
We treasure the tranquility of the desert and our relationship with our neighbors. For that reason, amplified music or sound that travels beyond the property is not permitted. Soft background music is welcome – it pairs perfectly with the stillness of the landscape. If your gathering calls for a lively, amplified soundtrack, the Doghouse may not be the right venue.
Our court was designed for leisure rather than competition – approximately six inches shorter and narrower than regulation dimensions. Guests play with Ninja Quiet foam balls, which mimic the feel of traditional pickleballs while maintaining a peaceful soundscape.
We ask guests to limit play to 2.5 hours per day. The court, nestled against sweeping desert views, is ideal for friendly rallies under the sun. Serious players seeking a regulation experience may wish to explore other options
No special vehicle is required. The road is typically well maintained, and we’ve had everything from vintage convertibles to supercars arrive without issue. Take your time, drive carefully, and enjoy the approach – the journey is part of the experience.
Yes. The property is equipped with high-speed internet suitable for creative work sessions, remote meetings, streaming, and digital-nomad living – all while surrounded by nature.
In consideration of the desert environment and fire safety, smoking is not permitted inside or near the property. A designated outdoor smoking area can be made available by request.
To protect guest privacy and maintain the peaceful desert experience, drones are not permitted unless pre-approved for professional shoots.
